Disorganisation

Organisation is rhythm and direction.

To be disorganised, is to try and play music with a drummer that has no sense of rhythm and goes everywhere and nowhere.

It's chaos.

Here's How:

  1. Extend Your Mind

  2. Create a Pattern in Time

  3. Make Tomorrow Easy:
    a. Defer Rabbitholes
    b. Build “White Space” into your schedule.
    c. Multiply activity time by 1.5
    d. Batching
    e. Give 80, Not 100%

Here's Why:

  1. Cognitive load theory suggests that if we don't use tools to aid our thinking, we will become prone to recency bias, anxiety, and disorganisation.

  2. People who are prone to ADHD tendencies rather be in the Maker Mode and not in the Manager Mode, this neglecting the functions of getting organised. Time blindness is a related factor.

  3. When you make tomorrow easy, your future self will thank you dearly.
